Welcome Dr. Allada to the NBRC Board of Trustees
We’re thrilled to welcome Gopal Allada, MD, as a member of our Board of Trustees! Dr. Allada brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to us as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Associate Director in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr. Allada hopes to improve the care of patients through research, education and excellent clinical practice. “I’m passionate about being part of the process of shepherding the next generation of medical clinicians. I truly enjoy working in multidisciplinary groups to deliver outstanding patient care.”
Outside of work, Dr. Allada loves traveling, hiking, watching football and basketball, listening to live music and cooking. His personal motto? Keep it fun! Someday, Dr. Allada hopes to learn to play the guitar like a pro.
Dr. Allada is proud of many of his accomplishments including leadership positions and educational awards. He plans to continue advancing in his role to accomplish many great things.

- Named Medical Director of the OHSU physician assistant school
- Named the Interim Program Director of the PA program and involved in all aspects of curriculum development
- Awarded as the OHSU Outstanding Preceptor with the Family Nurse Practitioner Program
- Received the OHSU Department of Medicine Faculty Teaching Award
- Nominated and awarded by the Department of Medicine Interns & Residents in appreciation for outstanding contributions to house staff education
