Earn CRCE Credit for CMP Participation

The NBRC has been approved to award CRCE credits to credentialed practitioners who participate in our Credential Maintenance Program (CMP) by completing at least 90% of assessment questions available in a calendar year. Credential holders who complete 90% of RT assessments in the calendar year will earn 6 CRCE credits and those who complete 90% of specialty credential assessments will earn 3 CRCE credits.

To facilitate this new CRCE opportunity, credential holders will have access to all assessments January 1 through December 31 (assessments no longer expire 6 months after release) and assessments will be available in the fifth year of the credentialing cycle (previously excluded for CEUs to be earned).

These CMP assessment details remain the same:

  • Assessments will be released quarterly.
  • Assessments for CRTs and RRTs contain 10 questions (40 total questions per year).
  • Assessments for specialty credentials contain 5 questions (20 total questions per year).
  • The cost to participate in the CMP is $125 total, collected annually in $25 increments over the 5-year credential cycle.
