Welcome Monica Raich, BSBS, RRT, RRT-ACCS, to the NBRC Board of Trustees

We’re very excited to welcome Monica Raich, BSBS, RRT, RRT-ACCS, to our 2022 NBRC Board of Trustees. Monica is a Team Leader and Lung Navigator at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia with over 30 years of respiratory care experience.

Monica graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh where she received an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.

When asked to describe herself, Monica said she’s motivated, strong and kind. She loves all aspects of respiratory care and finds joy in helping others breathe. “Making it easier for someone to breathe is truly rewarding. There’s no better feeling than seeing your patient smile with relief after treatments.”

Outside of work, Monica’s hobbies are reading, exercising and competitive ballroom dancing.

Monica’s passion and vast knowledge in the respiratory care profession is a wonderful addition to our Board. We’re overjoyed to work alongside her.
