Join us to help spread the word – The World Needs More RTs!

If you are passionate about respiratory therapy and want to help us spread our collaborative message – The World Needs More RTs, then our Social Media Ambassador Program is for you! There’s power in numbers and our ambassador program was created to get the word out about the many rewards of being a respiratory therapist.

As part of our goal to bring more RTs into the profession and advance specialty credentials, we’ve joined forces with the AARC and CoARC to launch a multi-year, national campaign to:

  • Raise public awareness of the value of the respiratory care profession
  • Recruit and retain more respiratory therapists
  • Identify, shape and inspire new leadership in the profession

Ambassador Guidelines

If you’re interested in joining our Social Media Ambassador Program, below are the guidelines you must agree to follow in order to receive quarterly incentives. That’s right, we have gift cards and swag for you!

  • A one-year commitment to our ambassador program
  • Each ambassador must create at least one original post or story, plus share one of our curated posts every month for 12 months:
    • Mention us (@nbrc.org on Facebook, @National Board for Respiratory Care on LinkedIn, @the_nbrc on Instagram, @nbrc_tweets on X, @the_nbrc on TikTok) with each post and share and use the following hashtags in those posts: #WorldNeedsMoreRTs and #NBRCAmbassador
      • Don’t forget to tag us in all of your posts! If we aren’t tagged, we won’t see it and be able to count it.
    • Agree to share curated NBRC content in specified timeframe
    • All of the original content you share must promote the RT profession in some way, include thoughts/feelings of your own, exclude any profanity, and exclude anything that can be perceived as a conflict of interest, such as selling exam study guides.

Ambassador Application

If you’d like to join our Social Media Ambassador Program, please complete the application below. We’ll process all applications at the end of the year and make our selections. If chosen, you’ll receive a confirmation email with curated content to share on your social media platforms in January.
