The Three-Year RRT Time Limit policy is no longer in effect as of January 1, 2021.

This policy was implemented in 2005 and required new advanced level education graduates to earn the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within three years of graduation.

We have eliminated this policy because candidates are now earning the RRT credential well before the three-year time limit.
